Personal Introduction
Allow me to share a little more about myself. I have been happily married for 27 years and have three children. My youngest is in their senior year in high school. We will both be participating in the graduation ceremony this spring at South Piedmont Community College and I think that is amazing. Never in my life did I think I would graduate with one of my children.
Spending time with my family is the highlight of my life. We like to get together once a week for homemade pizza and dessert. This is something I started doing with my children when they were very young. It has become our favorite family tradition, and we plan to continue it forever.
I enjoy being outdoors, taking nature walks, and working in my garden. I consider my garden my therapy. I appreciate the beauty found in nature as well as the many life lessons that can be learned. My love for these things has been passed down to me from my grandparents and I am honored to pass it on to my children.
I have a dream of helping others and offering them hope and encouragement. That is why I have decided to make this dream come true by taking the necessary steps in becoming a licensed counselor. The next part of my journey begins in the Spring of 2025 at Wingate University. I have been accepted into their psychology program where I will earn my bachelor's degree.
